Just A Band Parent…
helping our kids reach their fundraising goals.
Hi and welcome to Just A Band Parent which was created as a landing page for our Franklin High School Marching Band students to raise funds to meet their individual fundraising goals.
This year the Franklin High School band has been invited to march in the 137th Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena California. This is a huge honor and one our kids have worked so hard for. We are so proud and so determined to get them there. It is also an expensive endeavor to send 250 students across the country with all of their instruments and equipment. We would love your help making this dream a reality.

2026 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade
Each year, more than 200 bands apply to participate in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. The Tournament of Roses Committee selects 19 exceptional bands from around the world to participate in the Roses Parade. An invitation for the 20th slot is awarded by the Committee’s President to one of the participants in the Bands of America Grand National Championships. After watching all 113 high school bands compete in November of 2024, The Franklin Band was awarded the invitation to march in the 2026 Rose Parade. Franklin High will be the ONLY band participating from the State of Tennessee and one of SEVEN high school bands from around the world.

About the links on this site
About the links on this site:
The fundraising links on this site are direct links to individual student trip funds and TFB official fundraisers. We do not collect any money from donations, every penny goes to help the kids get to Pasadena.
How much does the trip cost?
Each student is required to pay or raise approximately $4000 just to fund their individual trip. This does not count the cost to get their instruments and equipment across the country. Fundraising efforts are under way by The Franklin Band. Find out how you can help.
